Personal Story

I am AJ Ferrigno, a Burlington resident running for Town Meeting in Precinct 3. I have lived in Burlington since 2010. I have been married since 2009, and I have two children in the public school system. I'm originally from Philadelphia, and I moved to the Boston area to obtain my Master's in Computer Science from Northeastern University. I have a passion for music, I enjoy sports, and I try to stay active, both physically and mentally.

My commitment is simple: show up prepared, explain every vote in plain language, and try to communicate my perspective along the way.

What I Hope to Bring to Town Meeting

Unbiased and Logical

I am politically unenrolled and try to have no bias, other than making sure the argument is fully delivered from all sides. Emotion should bow to logic.

Schooling Excellence

I voted in favor of the recent new BHS plan, even as an abutter, and I want to hear from my precinct about this, including why this vote failed.

Opinions and Respect

I strongly favor everyone's right to have an opinion, even one I might disagree with, and I promise to look for common ground while advocating for respect.

Vote Explanations

Full vote explanations are coming. After every Town Meeting, I will publish how I voted on every article and why.

Blog

A blog may start at some point. I usually have thoughts on how the meetings go, and I look forward to sharing them with those who don't have the time to watch or attend.

Community Polls

Fun pulse checks for local priorities (one vote per browser per poll).
